Practical Value of Select Membership Level

Members become 'Select' members at the 4000+ point level. From what I can see, the only stated benefit is access to reservations 13 months prior to use date, rather than 12 months. This only applies to bookings for 7+ days. If you break the week up into separate bookings, you fall back to the 12-month window.

Am I missing anything?

In practice, is this a significant advantage?

Does anyone know how many members are at the different levels?

You actually fall back to the 10-month window for 1-6 day reservations.

There's probably an advantage if you want really high-demand, full weeks. If your travel plans don't dictate that, then no benefit.

Booking at 13 months instead of 12 months is a significant advantage. But only if 7 days at your desired location and time of year is equal to or less than the number of points you own. Unless you want to bank or borrow to meet your goal.
