First Landing State Park = Running, Walking, Biking or self guided nature trail through a very large beautiful park. Cape Henry trail is wide and flat good for walking and biking runs through wooded portion of park. (Use park entrance on 64th Street). Or Long Creek Trail is wooded but also skirts scenic Lynnhaven River, no bikes allowed (For most scenic part of Long Creek Trail begin walk at visitors center off Shore Drive.

Visit Light House on Ft Story Joint Training Base.

New Years Laser Light Show at Town Center. (Town Center also has Nice restaurants and a comedy club) I like Tupelo Honey Restaraunt and Twist Martini Bar. After dinner check out Royal Chocolate for gourmet candy, candy apples and if cold try their hot chocolate.

Battle Ship Wisconsin at Waterside in Norfolk is within walking distance from MacArthur Memorial / Museum, Chrysler Musem of Art, and Quality Restaraunts.

Lots of great golf courses.

Owl Creek Tennis Center (close to Va. Marine Science Museum.)

New Sky Dive Wind Tunnel on Pacific Ave. (iFly)

The usual miniature golf / kid stuff etc.

Many, Many good restaurants at Ocean Front too. All depends on desires and budget. Two local favorites at Ocean Front are Tautogs or Terrapin. If you don't mind a drive try Blue Petes. And Try Doc Taylor's or Citrus for breakfast. This time of year I frequent some of the more touristy restaraunts on the Boardwalk because they are good but less crowded (two examples Mahi Mah's in the Ramada or Catch 31 in the Hilton).

While in Williamsburg take the walking tour of Colonial Williamsburg at night or day and a must visit is Busch Garden Christmas Town.
