Probably not without causing a family crisis.

One bit of tactical advice: have the son/daughter be the point of contact with the parents, rather than the son-in-law/daughter-in-law. That's an ironclad rule in our marriage, and it's served us well.

There is a fellow I met with four 100000 contracts with Bluegreen. He has a child’s name on each contract so each child can inherit a contract. He had planned to travel all year on his ownership but his wife passed away. I wonder if his kids know the maintenance fee costs.

Bluegreen sells vacation club membership, that is not deeded.
did you have a lawyer when you bought or sold a timeshare?
The first timeshare we purchased it from the developer. The resort was being built. No, we did not have a lawyer. The second and third timeshare we purchase resale and I did use use a lawyer to do the title search and the dosing documents. Just to be safe.
We were TUG members when we purchase the additional timeshares.

I do not trust any timeshare salesperson or developers becauses of the many untrue told by both parties.
