A question for all the Bluegreen experts out there:

I am thinking of buying another Bluegreen contract but don't want it in the same account as my original Bluegreen contract. So is it possible to have 2 or more Bluegreen accounts. If so, how can it be done?

A few in S and VA, a single resort in NC, MD, PA, and UT, plus Jamaica and the Bahamas
You can have 2 points but you will have to pay a second annual fee and depending on which trust you may be paying the base fee for each account.

So how do you setup the 2nd account? Do you have to put the certificate in different names? Or does Sterling Title just request a 2nd account be created? Or what?

Just Tell Sterling Title that you would like a separate account. I have two accounts to get around the geographic restrictions imposed several years ago.

My son and I had separate accounts. During a yearly owners update I asked if it was possible to combine the accounts. The sales person did tell me that we could do it and how much it would cost to change the deed and stuff, but he would have to check with his manager. The manager (spotting a sale) offered to do it all for free if we purchased additional points, about 15,000. The sales person spoke up that with the combined points I only needed an additional 8,000 points to move up to Silver Status and explained the benefits available. When we did not say yes right away the manager offered some other extras. Moving up in status has several advantages and might be worth looking into.
