I know there are a lot of negative reviews of brokers and transfer companies out there so I wanted to post a positive review for others to come across on their resale transaction due diligence.

I recently completed a resale purchase through John Kushman J&J Timeshares and closing processed through their Resort Closings Inc out of Bozeman, MT. I have to say the process was easy, smooth and the communication was great from start to finish. I was able to search for and purchase exactly the weeks piece I was looking for. Questions I asked were answered promptly and professionally within one business day by John as well as by Kelly at Resort Closings. Money was handled with care and I felt I could trust them through the whole process. The closing did not take that long given COVID and they acted with a sense of urgency for the items within our realm of control. I totally would use these folks again.

I also had a good experience with them in 2020.

I just purchased a HGVC property in Las Vegas, 11,200 (new) points on Ebay from Buy and Sell Timeshares. I haven't signed the closing documents yet and want to know if Buy and Sell Timeshares is a legitimate company. Resort Closings is handling the sale, so I am pleased to read that at least the two customers above have had good experiences. I'm a little edgy about proceeding. Any advice for me?

They are legit & I would recommend them & do business with them again. We bought WM from them in Nov via WMowners.com. They answered all our questions & followed up when we felt it was taking awhile. We closed in Feb which is about how long other WM owners were reporting @ the time. We are looking forward to our first WM stay next month!!

Resort closings are either also owned by John K or is an affiliated company. They closed our WM & we were happy with them. Would use them again.

I have one more question please. Does anyone think it is necessary to purchase title insurance? I have always done so when purchasing from Hilton, but the closing company told me that they don't accept any timeshares that have outstanding loans and they also verify that the maintenance fees have been paid for the current year. Thank you again for all of your help.

I know this thread isn't new, but I wanted to chime in. I bought one timeshare through them. John was easy to work with, gave me a fantastic deal and everything worked out great.
However. I just tried to buy a 2nd one from him, and the experience this time was not good. He didn't seem appreciate of the repeat business, and wasn't willing to negotiate. He even said to me that he "didn't want" to split closing fees. I've never to spoken to like that in sales. it was very off-putting. He didn't even try to see if seller would pay or even split.
