I saw a listing for a Polo Towers timeshare on eBay stating that the special assessment has been decided. This listing was a one-bedroom unit, and the entire special assessment was listed in the $400 range. I never heard anything about this- does anyone know how much the two-bedroom unit owners will pay for the special assessment?

There is a SA but, it was over $1,000 and according to other owners on this forum, the deadline for voting was extended in an attempt to get enough people to vote for the results to count.

I would be very leary of an add that said it had been decided and it was only $400. Perhaps they accidentally dropped the 1 from in front of the 4? You could always call the resort direct and ask them.

I have been on the phone with their customer service people, and at least three different people have been pretty optimistic about its chance of passing. They did extend the deadline through April 30th, in order to reach a quorum, again according to their customer service reps.

I guess I'm cautiously optimistic at this point that it will pass.

I've attached the cost of the special assessment. Sorry it's so small, I think there's a restriction on uploaded image size. Let me know if you want the entire 8 page "Facets" newsletter.
