Points towards MF ?

Just found out i've got 71k points expiring on 6/30/21. Can we use points towards upcoming MF? Hate to see these go to waste.

No. If they are expiring they aren't current year points. Only current year points can be converted and that would apply to IHG hotel points too.
You could book something through RCI to use later this year or next. You could book something through HICV and rent it out or gift it to family or friends if you can't use.
