Recently, we bought more points during an owner update while vacationing. We were able to buy 3000 points to get to 15000, perhaps it was foolish. In any case, the Bluegreen salesperson/representative changed the earn date for our points from November 1 to June 1. At the time, he probably made passing mention of this. He certainly did not make us aware of it. And we were unaware of the consequences of this change. It is now near impossible to schedule a vacation during the summer months and I teach school.
Is there any way in which we can change this earn date without being forced to buy 7000 points from Bluegreen?
Would we be able to buy Bluegreen points on TUG, and have the earn dates all consolidated to the date of the resale purchase?
Is there a system that we do not understand on Bluegreen that would enable us to still use our points for occasional vacations during the summer months? I do know about future points, but I've been told that using them is a bad idea. IDK.
I would appreciate any advice.
