Points deposit question

Hey there fellow TUGGERs just cancelled a pending June vacation and want to deposit the points into a future use year. I just went to do so and realized that I can deposit in 2021 or 2022. Here is my question, can I assign a portion of these points to each year or do I have to pick one year and stick with it?

Yes you can assign a portion to each year but it has to be done in two separate transactions & you’ll pay the $39 deposit fee on each transaction.
On step two enter the number of points you want to deposit into 2021 or 2022, ounce the first transaction is done you’ll be able to put the remainder of your points into the other use year during the second transaction

thanks for this - I suppose I can only do it once? IE: If I move it into 2021 I can't then move those in 2022?

There’s a lengthy discussion on that in the “Point deposit / usage order” thread.
You can deposit up to the amount of use year points owned. It’s possible on when you make reservations if you’re actually depositing the same points forward next year. We might be getting a new owner website with the new VIP Privileges program so we may not know how the system will work a year from now.
