I have 800 points about to roll into LCUP on 9/20. I would like to use them in the Hyatt system and and don't need full weeks or two bedrooms. However I have always heard LCUP is the least desirable option. My other option is find a II instant exchange as far out as possible and then get Eplus. I already have reservation in Hawaii with Vistana in February and with RCI in april. But who knows if that will ever happen. I could try to book something in Hyatt now for spring in case Hawaii is a no go. I see availability in Carmel, Key west, and Sedona but I would not use that res. if I actually get to go to Hawaii. What happens if I book somehting in Hyatt for spring and then cancel it if I go to Hawaii. Do the point go into LCup or do I lose them.

They will go to LCUP if it's still within 6 months of 9/20. If you cancel after that you lose points.
