We are staying at Wyndham Shawnee next week.
Looking for family restaurant recommendations both cheap eats and "nicer" place for Father's Day.

Where is that resort located? We are at a timeshare now near Hawley and I highly recommend Glass at the Ledges hotel that is literally on top of Paupack Falls.
Shawnee is in East Stroudsburg, so almost an hour to Hawley.

I haven't been to Shawnee (or Hawley, for that matter) for a few years, so I'm not much help. There used to be a pretty good Thai place in the little strip mall kind of across the street....

I just hunted for it. I think it's called Saen. Still there and gets good reviews.

To be honest with you, the Poconos are not generally a great place to eat out. (We live in a GREAT place to eat out, so we're pretty picky.) Take groceries with you if you can and plan on doing some cooking.

Ok...we ended up at the Gem and Keystone Brewpub for lunch yesterday after Bushkill Falls and before crossing the Delaware to visit the Brook Hollow Winery. We loved our meals at the Brewpub. I had the Philly cheesesteak and DH has the burger with fig/onion topping. It is very close to the Wyndham Shawnee, a huge timeshare complex!

We generally cook, but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something/place.

The house fried rice and red curry chicken was good there.

Did you find any good new places? We're going to the Poconos late this year.

Saen Thai across from Shawnee was good.
The Sausage Roll at Bosco pizza was good; the other item we had were not that great.
We did a Walmart order pick-up, so we ate in for most meals.
Not a meal, but Llama ice cream is REALLY good. https://www.llamaicecream.com/
