I called my brother for advise as to what to buy my nephews. His suggestion for boy #2 (10 years old) is related to his now playing the guitar. He suggested getting him "Legends of Rock" type guitar song books. He's been playing for about 2 years, and is getting pretty good, but still a relative beginner. I did a search on Amazon, but there is an overwhelming number of choices. :crash:

I was thinking about getting him the "Rolling Stone Sheet Music Classics" Vols 1 and/or 2 and "150 of the Most Beautiful Songs Ever" but then reading into the descriptions, it sounds like they are for piano, not guitar. I'm assuming there's a difference and I want to get something specifically for guitar?

Please give your input quickly, since I'd like to get this ordered (he lives in Atlanta, so mail order is best) ASAP.

Thanks! :hi:

You can check out Ultimate Guitar and get sheet music from there. To my understanding these are renditions of classics for guitar. This is a site my daughter uses to print sheet music from time to time.

Thanks to both of you. I got him a few of the Hal Leonard books. :)

I love it when the kids take up a hobby, it makes present buying so much easier when you have a target.
