I wonder what the process is with paying the ebay and waiting for Marriott to answer. Has anyone else bought on ebay and is familiar?

I don't think is passes ROFR - I think Marriott has reasonable demand for Platinum and could take it on ROFR and be able to resell at developer list price.

The listing has a couple suspicious items in the description:

(1) It is described as lockoff - I am quite sure there are no lockoff units at SurfWatch.

(2) In the Q&A, in response to question on deeded view, the seller says it "is deeded either ocean side view or garden view" - if that is true it is the strangest deed I have ever heared of. Why would a unit be deeded as a multiple type?

. . . and its one of those must use the closing company the seller selects deals - always suspicious.

There are no lock offs at Surf Watch and the views are designated as garden or ocean view certainly not both. Buyer better beware on this one.

Correct, there are no lock-off's at Surfwatch. My deed has a specific view. There is a BIG difference between oceanside and garden view.
