I've seen a few ads in the classifieds that don't make sense to me. I thought Platinum encompassed pretty much the whole year w/ the exception of the last weeks (meaning the additional days offered by platinum along with all the levels of service below it). That is what I was made to understand anyway by Marriott at our presentation. I've seen one advertised as platinum but the weeks specified like:

"weeks 1-21 and 50-52"

..but is advertised as "floating/platinum" so I'm confused.

Thanks!

Every timeshare system has their own definitions. Floating Platinum would usually be a week that floats during high season. In other words, you could reserve any available week during platinum season. Platinum season is varies from location, to location.

I know what they had told us @ Ocean Pointe was that Platinum included the rest of the seasons...and Grand Chateau is "Platinum Only" so it was the whole year basically. So Platinum doesn't necessarily include the other service levels times also?
