Just grabbed a week at Plantation Beach Club at South Seas through II but looks like there are daily fees per person - anyone what those fees include and is it worth it - sounds like $20 a day per person. I assume Plantation Beach Club has it's own pool is it nice? Trying to figure out if we should keep or cancel within the 24hour Any thoughts? We love Captiva but not excited to add $60 a day for the three of us onto the exchange.

Plantation Beach Club has its own pool. I have not seen it as I have not been to this part of the resort. It is located in the mid section of the resort. What the fees include would be using the main pool area with slides, a gym, and trolley throughout the resort.

Panina is correct. We were there in 2020 and declined to pay that fee. We had the beautiful beach for swimming anytime we wanted, and we walked everywhere (for exercise) instead of riding on their "trolley". Personal note: I would decline it initially, and sign up for it later during your stay "if" you find you decide to want that benefit.

In our situation; We declined it for the entire week, yet they charged us for it for the entire week. I caught the charge on the bill at check out time and had them reverse it, so be very sure to review your bill at Check out.

I just posted my review......we spent 3 weeks there in December. Unless you have a child who has their heart set on using the slide at the main pool we enjoyed the pools at the Beach Club and declined the fee. There are plenty of other restaurant options other than staying at the resort. We absolutely LOVED the Beach Club & I would stay here again any time I was given the opportunity!!!

You stayed at Plantation Beach Club and used their limited amenities including the pool and no spa and declined the fee? I don't understand.

Call them directly and get the answers to your questions.

By the way, have they finally reopened after Hurricane Ian? I know they were closed for a while.
