How come some studios say it's for 2 and some say 4? I called and they said it's 4 max in all studios...

The studios or efficiencies are kind of small. Roughly the size of a hotel room - - maybe a bit larger but not much.
For a family of 4 it might work. But for four adults, I'd recommend against it.

Phase 1 is max 4, Phase 2 is max 2. That's how it's coded in the system. I don't think there's a difference in reality.

My husband and I trip over each other. These are some of the smallest studios in the Hyatt system. Plus there is an abundance of furniture. I would stick to 2

Thanks everyone. We have 2 adults and 2 little kids... so a small hotel room, while not preferred, is ok... Though now a bit spoiled after staying our first time in a Mountain Lodge studio!

Just want to make sure we won't have any issues at check-in.

I would not recommend a studio. Tiny and no views. Get a one bedroom if you can - those are twice the size of a studio, have a w/d and fabulous bathroom, and many have great views.

I agree with Echino.

If you decide to stay with a studio ask for one with a large patio or balcony.

My wife and I recently stayed in building 15 in a studio for a week. We had a patio with a table and four chairs and a view. We agreed we would stay in a studio again only if a one bedroom was not available or we didn’t have the points. A one bedroom is better as quoted above.

We had to rearrange the furniture because the studio unit was too crowded. There is a table in front of the sofa that took up a lot of room. I moved it in front of the lock out door and stacked a few things on top of it.
