Pick your favorite TUG logo submission!

I have grabbed 20 or so of the submissions provided in the other thread to post up here and start a poll (ill create the poll after i get them all attached here, hopefully itll let me!

note that none of these HAVE to be the final version, but the winner (or winners) chosen via the poll will be rendered in a much higher quality format suitable for printing on tshirts and such, and can of course be altered to include either TUG2.NET or TUGBBS.COM as applicable. id likely just create one for each winning design that way folks can choose whichever domain they wish to emblazon upon their sales presentation uniform!

so to reiterate, you are voting for the DESIGN...so dont discount one just because it doesnt say tug2.net or tugbbs.com etc.

Generally, with about half a dozen exceptions (for instance, numbers 10 and 20) the point size of the text (other than TUG) is much to small. I think you need to set some standards like smallest/largest font size, black/white or color or versions of both, dimensions in pixels, height/width ratio, etc. before you worry about the actual design itself. Maybe you should spend $100 on fiver for a professional design.

these are simply initial designs. we can absolutely alter the font size/color/etc but with so many different submissions we wanted folks to choose the design or layout they would be more likely to wear while on vacation at a Timeshare!

ha, yes...we will also spellcheck any final design =D

4 and 7 do look identical...you are right! oddly enough they have gotten different vote counts too!

ill remove 4 from the list as it has the lowest. everyone should be able to edit their vote choices at will.

well with a bit over 100 votes, it appears 10 is going to win the outright title here! Im going to send this off to someone to have them recreate it into a proper vector/pdf format so it can be uploaded to print on shirts and such, and ill order the first one to send to CPNY as a bonus for creating the first winning design!
