No. It is your to do anythinbg on it. If you want to get Wyndham points, you need to deposit that TS to RCI, than call Wyndham (10 month before the usage), and they will give you the Wyndham points. Otherwise, you can use it, rent it, exchange with RCI without Wyndham.

We have a couple pics and some years we use them, some we exchange, but lately, we have been picing them. It works well but takes some time. I think the last one we did, took about 2 weeks before it was finished. The only disadvantage is that you have to pic it 10 months prior to it's use date and you only have 12 months to use the points from. So, basically, you have to use the points quite a while in advance. Our week was October 2007, we had to pic it by Dec 2006, and the points were only good from January 2007 to January 2008 which means you have to use them quickly. Debby

I get more bang for my buck when I pic my Sheraton Week to Wyndham. I get to trade a 28K week back into Sheraton (if I want), and I get 3 more weeks of travel out of my 154,000pts that Wyndham gives me if I chose to bank some 28K pts weeks into RCI.

Heck its hard for me to give up that PIC to deposit my Sheraton with II. The way I look at it, is staying at DVC resort worth potentially 4 weeks of travel, when I can stay at any nice resort in Orlando....heck naw...so I end up banking my week...
