about once a week for the last couple of months I get a call from a 407 number whose caller id is always some travel thing; normally, I don't pickup but anything from the area code of the 'magic' I do pickup; these callers always know who I am and ask me if I am using all my wyndham points this year; I answer yes all the time; once I asked why they are calling me and the guy said they would help me rent my unused points to someone else or something like that; anyone have a clue about this; I would never get involved but I am curious; thanks;

I get them with about the same frequency. Since my phone is (was) locked in a box during the day, the calls didn't get answered. Sometimes they catch me on the way home and I'm always happy to talk to them (hands-free) while I'm crawling down I-395. I wasn't doing anything else!

I don't know what their scam is but I'm sure there is one.

Tougher to pull off if the property is in the US.
