Hi

This might be the wrong spot- but i thought I'd try here...

Do any timeshares allow dogs? Like 60 lb dogs? Is that a search criteria?

Waiting for our paperwork to go through- then we will be jumping into the deep end of the timesharing...! Can't wait!

BEST $15 I'VE EVER SPENT!

There are timeshares that accept pets. Most accept none. Some have a 40lb limit. Some have no limit. Most resorts that do will require that the pet be crated while left alone in the unit for the safety and well being of the housekeeping/maintenance crews. RCI lists (or they used too) resorts via a search that allow pets. The specifics are listed in the individual resort pages on RCI. Hope that helps. If you are an RCI member just try searching for 'pets allowed' in the resort directory. Not to discourage you, but you won't find many that will allow a 60lb dog. Sorry. I wish it was different but I do understand why this is the case.

EDIT: And all will charge you a fee (I've seen $100 to $400) just for having the pet in the unit, more if there is damage, of course.
