It seems conversations about pet friendly resorts come and go from this BBS, so I'd like to start the conversation again. I love to bring my dog along on my travels and when possible staying at a timeshare with her along makes for a fun trip for both of us. Is there a chance of starting a Forum on just that subject?

We recently stayed at Premiere Vacation Club at Bell Rock I.I. -"RCK", in Sedona, Arizona. The PVC has a pet program at some of their resorts. The Bell Rock resort is small but very nice with great trails in close walking distance and couple of good restaurants nearby (none at the resort). There is a charge for the pet, and pre-coordination with the resort is required. I believe pets are also allowed at Los Abrigados a more full service resort near downtown Sedona - you would have to verify.

Anyone else have current recommendations of pet friendly resorts?

Thanks

New forums are considered when there is enough posting activity on a particular timesharing topic (usually a chain of resorts) to justify a separate forum. Since threads on pet-friendly resorts and related topics are few and far between, such a separate forum would not be warranted.

If we did have such a separate forum, there are probably 100+ other topics with more discussion which would also warrant a forum, thus making it difficult (impossible?) to wade through all of the forums to find the one of choice.

That's what this TUG Lounge is for - topics that don't seem to fit anywhere else on the BBS.

Hi Sheri,

I just got back from a week at the Four Seasons in Scottsdale. It's a fantastic resort...and it is pet friendly. My two cocker spaniels had an awesome time. It's not real easy to exchange into, but I highly recommend it!
