Just got my special assessment bill of $215, along with my 10% increased maintenance fee of $611. The letter that came along with it made me think they are trying to stay in operation until the end of 2019, but are asking for the payment of 2020 maintenance fees. Anyone else get the feeling things are really bad?

A long time ago I owned a Week at Peregrine and found it to be a nice laid back place to unwind for 4 or 5 days. IMO they did a masterful job in putting the Resort back together after a hurricane. My recollection is that they did it without a Special Assessment. Although I no longer own my Week I'm curious what the explanation is for the current Special Assessment...

I own 3 weeks there. I got my letter yesterday, March 2, and they want the mf’s paid by April 1!! I’m not sure there are lots of people with $1800 just sitting around; I’m certainly not one of them. I need to come up with $1800 in 4 weeks.

We LOVE this resort and it also trades really well! But I’m very concerned...

We are down to three!!
In the same boat. Last SA took us 5 years to pay (own 3 weeks) . Thought we were done and now another one, and not sure it is going to fix the problem.
