Pending Requests in II

I have a pending request (Deposit First) for summer 2012 that I placed back in August 2011. I have done MVCD pts transaction to hedge my bets so I am covered in terms of the summer 2012 reservation.

I am starting to think about Spring 2013 and I am thinking about modifying the request to also include different resorts for Spring 2013. Figure if either hits I end up ok. All of these are Marriott to Marriott trades.

Does this request get treated like I made it in August 2011 or when I enter in the additional resorts?

Does it make any difference in terms of odds of actually getting the trade aka cancelling the pending request and putting in a new one just for 2013 or just adding the resorts and dates to the existing pending request?

You are "still in line" even if you change your request. As soon as I make my March 2013 reservations I too will put in a request for "way out" to summer 2013.

Does anyone think if I make a 2013 summer Plat ressie and make an II request for a 2014 summer or 2015 summer week somewhere, once my 2013 week passes, II can (behinds the scenes without telling me, of courses) "push" me further back in the line since they have "nothing to loose" (they already have my week and given it to someone) at that point?
