Maintenance fees paid for 2025 and Seller to be reimbursed the 2025 fees. Total paid including operating fees, reserves and taxes= $1,348.46

I plan to use LT. Their cost is $255 plus $20 postage and recording fees Hilton's transfer fee is $95 ROFR and $474 Transfer Fee. These fees are also Buyer's responsibility.

In the spirit of "Black Friday" and "Cyber Monday," the 2025 points are yours! No reimbursement of maintenance fees! Just cover LT's fees and the HGVC Transfer Fee and this Annual HGVC Platinum is yours with full 2025 7,680 points!

@JimS A very generous offer - but a free platinum unit would likely would never pass ROFR. Have you contacted HGVC for a deedback? I am sure they will want you to pay the MFs, but you have already agreed to cover that, and they would want this one back.

Just gave away my platinum sea world 7680pts with no problem passing rofr. They paid 2025 mf's though.

We'll see. It is under contract and being submitted for ROFR.

Congratulations, @JimS. The new owners should be very happy. I predict it will pass because I haven't heard of HGVC exercising ROFR.

i looked on ebay. My my, how the values have fallen since i sold mine years ago. i got 3k for a plat 1br seaworld unit (after paying 8k resale in 2005).

My favorite feature was the changeable reservation right up to check in. I read that went away. I've been tempted to get back in with HGVC but with the value story with timeshares degrading in general i have been selling, not buying the last few years. But i kept what works best for me.

It is still a great deal for the "buyer" with a plat unit and a years worth of free points.

I had too many HGVC points so giving away a few weeks to balance my portfolio. Aside from NY, I still have a Boulevard Gold and HGVC Enrolled Plantation Beach Club at IRC. May just keep the NY Contracts.

I paid 3k for my hgvc back in 2005, which seemed a good value then. Now I am happy just to get out. I'm sure I will miss certain aspects of it but the cost is just not worth it to me anymore. If it was just a matter of paying mf's I would keep it but all the fee's they have added puts me out.
