I know, it sounds odd, but I've been reading rave comments about PB2 peanut butter powder on WW boards.

You mix the powder with water, and get peanut butter that is much lower in calories or fat, and supposedly delicious.

It's made by:

Despite the good reviews, I'm skeptical, so before I order the minimum of four jars, I want to check my peeps here at TUG, and also see if any local health food stores carry it.

I have it. It does taste good and is easy to reconstitute with water. I often will mix up a little eat with cut apple slices.

I have to warn you, though, the fact that it is low calorie is because it has no oil in it. It is NOT a satisfying treat and will not fill you up. I don't think it would be good in a PB and jelly sandwich.

They came out with a chocolate pb flavor which sounds good but I haven't tried it yet.

I've tried it and thougt it was good. I know several ww members that love it. They add it to the ww breakfast smoothie for a choc., pb smoothie.

If you order it and don't like it, I think their return policy is you can return the three unopened jars. You probably have to pay the shipping, but the return policy sounds pretty good to me.

Boy, I like to try new stuff, but powdered peanut butter doesn't even sound good. Maybe if they had one of those sample tables at Costco???

Life's too short for.....

lousy wine
fat-free sour creme
margarine
instant mashed potatoes
aerosol cheese
spray whipped creme
...and a whole lot of other stuff I can't think of right now...

Eat dessert first

Maybe good for hiking & camping, or in a combat zone. I think I'd prefer Jiff or Peter Pan.

If you are hard core dieter &/or are really working a weight loss system like WW's, this stuff is a god send if you love peanut butter.

Its the real deal...just no oil, which is why the calorie savings.

If you aren't so concerned about the calories, then you might not want it.

I have some...it's a handy item but not something I'm drawn to.

Unfortunately, I'm a "hard core dieter" only 3-4 months each year, then the "yo-yo" starts again. Right now, I'm in the "yo" phase, which is the "up" part of "yo-yo".

I understand that - I was an Up Yo last night. I couldn't sleep, but my brain was half asleep, my willpower nonexistent, and my daughter had just baked a pan of brownies. :p
