Its been years since our last stay at PB Sunset. We are thinking of bringing an 82 year young, wheelchair bound female to the resort but can not remember if the resort is handicap accessable. I do remember the hills.

The resort relies upon golf cart transportation; I don't know but it may be hard for your wheelchair-bound friend. The golf cart rides are bumpy and take tight corners. I'm sure you'll have plenty more tuggers weighing in and giving their opinion.

I believe but am not sure that there are units in the main building and those would not require the carts.

Think you could do it.

We are @ PBSB right now staying in building 26. You could get to our room from the lobby by taking the elevator down to the level with the carts, then it would be maybe 100 yards or less to building 26 on a fairly level (slight up slope at one point) then take the elevator in building 26 to your room. I think it would be the about the same to buildings 17 & 18. (Think I got the building numbers correct.)
Can't think of any other buildings that would have easier access. Hope this helps.

It is doable, call the resort ahead of time and let them know, the front desk is wonderful and accomodating there. You may have to do some wheelchair pushing at times, but if i remember correctly, from your jet ski on lands end pics that it looks like you can manage

PBSB Bldg 40

I just saw a gentleman in a wheelchair who was staying in the building 40/41 complex. It is also fairly level from the lobby to that building, then the elevator would be used to get to the correct level. There is a ramp from the elevator landing to the pool that was a little steep, so he had his wife assist him down this ramp. Anyway, staying a PBSB while using a wheelchair is doable.

Thanks for the actual sightings of wheel chairs at the resort. I called the resort and asked about wheel chairs and was told many guests have been accomidated in wheel chairs.

I forgot to ask if the Pueblo Bonito shuttle has a wheel chair lift.
