I received a "call" from Wyndham. On the voicemail it gave me a different number so I ignored it. However since there was an outage I was in my account doing to customary screenshots of everything. I happened to have logged into Paymentus where it told me that I was in arrears.

This originally happened in August. When I called in I was told it was due to an audit. However, yesterday I was told that it was an IT glitch that was creating credits that didn't exist making it looked as though I had paid too much.

They have been working through this for a couple of months. I had to call to have the late fees removed. But this is a thing. So check your accounts to make sure that something isn't in arrears from this August snafu.

I posted about this back in September about the August payment.

I must have missed that. Wyndham assured me that it was due to an audit. How many owners will just pay through Paymentus and get hit with $15/month late fee? Ridiculous!!!

My account is STILL showing it's past due - even though the past 2 months it auto-paid correctly. The issue in August was never fixed. Last month they got the scary past due message to go away, but it's back. And the past due amount is insanely incorrect (well, invalid to begin with, and also insanely incorrect - over $900 now, and growing). This time I emailed (as calling has been a couple 1 hour conversations and I'm trying to avoid that again). Stay tuned...

Oh and yeah, lots of reassures (in the past) that it would be taken care of.

I had the same thing happen in August and didn't notice until my wife started getting phone calls a couple of weeks ago. Called in and had them pay the amount required. It now shows everything is paid.

Except... I don't owe them anything. I've made my payments, even when they didn't take it, I noticed and did one time payments. My amount due is over $900. If it was just the $15 I'd probably pay it and move on... however, I'm not willing to pay them $900+ that I don't owe.

Wow, Happy Thanksgiving to me! My account is correct, no balance due and no red flags!

A journey, for sure. This all started in July or August, I had a crazy amount past due amount. On Nov 5 my account was showing over $900 past due and flagged as at risk of not being able to use it. About 2 weeks now, they (again) adjusted most of the past due balance. I was still showing about $45 overdue and flagged with red warnings. When I called they said they were still working on it. Last night my monthly auto pay processed - for the correct amount. And today my balance due is ZERO and no flags!

My autopay today was for an amount less than what it should have been. It looks like they only took the amount for the maintenance fee and didn't charge the amount for the monthly club dues. If I add the club dues amount to what they charged to my card, it adds up to the normal amount we pay each month.

Crazy. I never figured out why my went sideways, nor did I see a good explanation of what fixed it. No adjustments show on my account, only the actual payments made by me. From an auditors perspective, I think it looks perfects, correct monthly amounts always paid, and a zero balance. Good luck!

My paymentus has never worked properly, but they are at least charging me the correct amount. I log into paymentus and it doesn't list any of my contracts, but it shows the loan that has been repaid years before Wyndham even switched over to paymentus. Doesn't show any payment history either. I have been afraid to call them because I don't want the auto payments broken like apparently is happening to some of you.

Just another seemingly half baked Wyndham IT system
