We are leaving Saturday for our first stay here. Can anyone tell me about either wireless availability in or near the resort and what the coffeemaker situation is? Some places leave enough filters, some I bring my own.

I know, coffee and internet addicted is no way to start a vacation, but I really need both as I have to VPN into my office while away.

Thanks,

Joan

I know Kingsgate rec center has wireless connection for free. And it is very close to Patriot Place.

As to filter, sorry I don't drink coffee. But I has asked for more supply in various FF resorts and get them no problem.

Kingsgate

So, I guess I didn't have enough coffee when I posted this. RCI switched us from Patriot's Place to Kingsgate due to an inventory problem. I think I got a nicer resort. We are leaving tonight. (4AM is still tonight in my mind.)

Still looking for info on coffee filters (do they supply or do I need to bring them) and wireless connectivity INSIDE the unit. I do not want to use their computer, as I am VPNing to my office. I may need to find a wireless Starbucks near there. Anyone know of the solution?

Thanks,

Joan

Joan:

They do have coffe filter as the supply. The unit very likely will not have wireless, you have to use dial-up. But you can use your computer in their rec center.

There is a Starbucks on Monticello, across the street from Ukrops, and I believe they have wireless. There is also a larger Starbucks on 60, just above (west) of Busch Gardens...plenty of room to sit and work if needed.

Thanks everyone! Looking forward to vacation and hoping I don't even need the laptop! We will be riding the Big Bad Wolf all week with the kids. And Hubba Hubba Highway, one of my favorites.

They do have wirelss at the rec center

When I was there over Spring Break, there were frequently people sitting in the rec room lobby using laptops.
