Parking at Grande Ocean

We're at Grande Ocean this week and parking has been a NIGHTMARE! We've owned here since 1999 and this is the first time we've ever experienced anything like this!

We're in the Starfish Building where there are 45 units. There are only 38 spaces in the garage under the building and an additional 4 spaces outside, including handicapped spaces! Okay, according to my calculations, that's 42 spaces for 45 units!

There seems to be almost as many yellow parking passes (no parking in garages) on property as there are green parking passes! The entire week we've had to park at least one to two buildings away from our unit!

I've reported numerous cars with NO parking passes parked on the premises. But, mostly, I'm wondering why they are issuing so many yellow parking passes and allowing them to park on this side of South Forest Beach when there doesn't seem to be a sufficient number of parking spaces for primary (green) passes?

I feel like as an owner, I should be able to have ONE parking space CLOSE to my building. But, maybe I'm expecting too much!

Has anyone else had parking issues at Grande Ocean this summer?

We were at Grande Ocean for two glorious weeks July 11-July 25 in the dolphin building and never had trouble finding a parking space underneath our building.

We were at GO last April and we also stayed in Starfish. We had the same problem with finding a spot under the building. We did find a spot each time near another building within a short walk. I had family visit and they parked accross the street.
