I based my statement on that the OP had booked the two (2) bedroom villa and that there was only two (2) adults in their villa. The OP had booked the larger villa with the full kitchen, dining room and living room. The OP would occupy this villa.
The second bedroom villa would be occupied by their guest for either five (5) or seven (7) nights. This unit does not have the full kitchen and dining room.
Their guest would need to pay for parking.
The second couple, if they were not staying with the OP would be guest of MBP and their would be no need to ask the parking question. IMHO.
IMHO, since the room is a lock-off, and it could have been reserved as a one bedroom and a studio separately, then MBP should provide two parking spaces, which they would if they reserved separately. If that were the case, the cost would still be $14/day for each car, but there needs to be enough parking for these types of situations. Not a big deal, since they do have the other two floors apparently that are managed by another parking company.
What I really don't understand is why the same garage, albeit operated by two separate entities, charge a different price? Especially when the price charged by the entity (MBP) that I am the customer of, is higher. Seems like it would be the other way around, in the interest of customer service. Also, in all the other MVC and Ritz Residences we've been to that typically charge parking have provided at least one vehicle parking for no cost. Seems like parking should be baked into the MF, and not a money maker. IMHO.
Anyway, no big deal, we'll pay $14/day for one vehicle and $65/week for the other (two couples traveling from different starting points results in two vehicles). Thanks to all the posters for their responses!
