Have a trip planned for late March (Marriott Summit Watch) and wondering what the ski “experience” is like. We can’t control the weather but was curious how the reservation system is working (Park City and Deer Valley), how far in advance can you sign up, can you buy tickets from re-sellers and then reserve a date, etc. How are the restaurants on the mountain? I’ve just seen a lot of conflicting reports. Thanks for any guidance.
If you are booking regular lift tickets for Park City, you can book now for all dates. Epic pass reservations are subject to Epic pass reservation rules so it would depend on what reservations you already have on your pass if you want to reserve more.
On resellers, not sure. You won't find a ton of discounting on resold tickets unless they are rare comped passes... and I assume you have to exchange those at the window. Epic controls reselling pretty well - there isn't a ton off discounting besides epic discounts (e.g. swaf, buddy, and advance purchases).
I would assume the same for Deer Valley except I think they are Ikon pass.
