Any guidance on discounts for lift tickets for Park City and Deer Valley as well as ski rental shops?

Park City aka Vail Resorts doesn't really offer discounts beyond their own advance ticket rate.

Not likely to find lift ticket deals for either.

Deer Valley was bought a couple of years ago by the same company that owns Squaw and Mammoth. They are part of the Ikon pass though I think you can still buy Deer Valley only passes.

Vail owns Park City and they are part of the Epic Pass.

It is difficult to find any discounted tickets at these resorts (other than the window advance rate). Since these big corporations bought up and consolidated, they really have a tight hold on pricing and it is tough to find discounts mid-season. They really drive people towards the passes so they can lock in their revenue and not have to worry too much about snowfall...

Good luck in your search.

At Park City Mountain Resort, don’t walk up to the counter and buy the ticket. Buy it the day before online. You can get a discount this way.
