I should start a betting pool on the length of the downtime. But it seems smart to take it down at 12:30 am Eastern, that gives people who want to reserve inventory that becomes available that day half an hour to do so before the downtime.

I would expect "up to several hours" means it will be down most of the day, but maybe I'll be surprised (and delighted!) when it comes up sooner.

Last time they did it, there was no inventory released during the half hour along with a message on the Marriott side of things and a notification as part of the customer service voice mail saying it was all to be released the next day.

I'm trying to book something and in the search, it shows available. But then when I try to actually reserve I get "villa not available". Beyond annoyed.

Some point soon, the complexity of all the system rules is going to create sparks within the antiquated Marriott cobol based system resulting in a catastrophic plume of smoke over MVC IT headquarters.

I received the same requested URL error yesterday when trying to see my maintenance fee balance. Must be linked to the upgrade they are doing tonight.

Indeed. I tried it again today and at first I got the same message but I kept trying it over and over again and was able to view both of my maintenance fee balances before it again gave me the same message. Your message about payments looks much more final though

Me too. My option balance does not populate at the top of the screen though. I just "almost" completed an Options booking as well. There are issues but if you are persistent with it eventually it seems to work.

That’s the screen I’ve been getting every time I try to log into my dashboard since the scheduled outage on 8/1. I have yet to have it work since before 8/1 and they haven’t been able to resolve it for me.

I beleive the StarOption balances on the Dashboard are stored locally in a cookie. Try deleting cookies and see if that clears up the issu.
