Just exchanged into a large two bedroom unit for family this summer. Has anyone stayed there recently? French Quarter was available, but unit was a little smaller. We are traveling with grandchildren, so I opted for larger unit. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. I still have 24 hours to switch resorts, if feedback is strong.

Nice resort, decent location, wood frame so upstairs noise can be an issue (grandchildren will sound like a heard of elephants to those beneath your unit).

This is not one of the more luxurious resorts in Branson. The pool is nice but not overly fancy. Fitness room was a joke IMHO. Nice indoor pool the kids might enjoy.

For us, we prefer something else just because of the neighbor noise issues we had and, we had adults, not kids above us. Both French Quarter and Palace View are managed by Southwind Management. We own at French Quarter and Grand Regency. Grand Regency is also managed by Southwind. French Quarter is about the same quality as Palace View but, we like the pool better, it's a concrete build (less noise) and we could get a penthouse unit to ensure we didn't have to worry about noise from the unit above us. French Quarter also has a slightly better location for us as we have direct access to 76 Country Music Blv and the Yellow Traffic Relief route if we go out the back exit.

Here's a link to our photo album on Webshots from our stay at Palace View. We were in what is refered to as Palace View South. Same complex, slightly different style to the building. I believe they are now building an addition called Palace View Heights, which should be what they're currently selling if you take the tour.

At any rate, if you click the picture it should take you to the album.
