New resale members attending a "member update" meeting next week at Parc Solei. Any advice or guidance what we should expect from sales reps? Any pre advice is helpful. Thanks

You can ask the sales person how many days is the rescission period in Florida. You can also bring a certified mail envelope with you.

I think that should help you have a quick "member update".

@1Kflyerguy How long ago was your W57 presentation? I had a high pressure one about 5 years ago, but since then, they have been more professional.

The W57 trip was right about 5 years back. We went to NYC the first week of my sabbatical, and i just got the email to let me know i am eligibly for the next one yesterday. I get a sabbatical every 5 years, so that nails down the timing.

Not an owners update but might be of interest.

Just back from a trip to Orlando where a took a presento from HGVC as a penance for a $200 4 day /3 night Tuscan Village stay. Except for a 30 minute spiel complete with pretty classy slides from a Gordon Gecko type who omitted a few key details (but no outright lies), not a bad experience.

I chatted with the sales lady for about an hour, mostly about places we have been after clearly stating I had no intention of buying since I had all the TS I could ever need. She only made one attempt to sell an EOY deal, called the closer and the Sales Manger for verification I wasn’t buying and I was out the door with 30000 points, a free night (up to $200) in a Hilton property and a handful of granola bars.

Since the morning of the penance was 42 degrees while I was inside, I’d actually didn’t miss much of the mini break from Ohio winter.

Cheers

I just booked another HGVC reservation. On the booking window, there was an option to attend an "Owners Update" for 30K Hilton Honors Points.
