Ovations is it just the deed that gets notorized?

Got paperwork for Ovations but not clear if I need to notarize the forms that acknowledge transfer and declaration not to obtain counsel.

anyone do one of these lately that can say for sure?

I’ll take a crack at it.
It’s usually very clear that it will show a designated place for a notary to sign, date, what state for the notary & when the notary expires.
If that’s missing I’d say no notary needed. Most if not all banks have notaries so you could ask a notary & they’d know for sure after a glance at the documents
Ovation wouldn’t answer the question??

We notarized the places that had a spot for a notary. And there were more spots than just the deed that needed notarized. We gave back a CWA contract and a deeded contract.

Ovations the gift of giving! Wyndham thanks all for the generosity of giving them back a deed. They will sell over and over again at 20-30k. No need to build new resorts with this continuous supply coming back at a next to nothing.

I just looked at the blank PDFs from when we Ovated, and I’m fairly certain only the deeds were notarized. The other form we just signed and dated.

Many like @paxsarah are giving back resale contracts. They didn’t pay your quoted $20-$30k.
In FACT Wyndham takes back many resale contracts that it would cost more to dispose of the contract than it’s worth.
I’ll bet @paxsarah , @littlestar & @Railman83 are thankful for Wyndham having the Ovations program
THANK YOU Wyndham for giving resale purchases an exit for their resale contract at no cost!!!!!!!!!

You seem to be the ON TOPIC policeman & your post is off topic of this thread as this thread asked a NOTARY question
I’ll also bet everyone is SICK & TIRED of YOU BASHING the great program called Ovations!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ovations makes it possible for an individual to become an owner for $0 & to exit their ownership for $0. Let’s here you trash that!!

Our contracts were small ones that we gave back. Knowing what I know now, I would not even purchase that small of a contract because you need at least 77,000 points to get a transaction credit.

Correct.

I gave away High mf contracts that no one would want or take. I have 1.8 M left with a 4.92 per 1000 cost.

So yes I’m grateful for the program.

Once you sell something, you have no continuing interest in it. Be happy you sold it instead of obsessing about what the buyer will do with it.

I hope you don't have any ex-wives! You'll end up with restraining orders.

If there's a place to have it notarized, have it notarized. If there is a place for witness(es), have it witnessed. If there's no place for notarization or witnessing, don't do either one.
