I made deposits on these two cruises:
3/24/25 - Depart Ft. Lauderdale for a 15d TATL to Rome.
4/08/25 - Arrive Rome (Civitavecchia).
-Ports: Madeira. Gibraltar, Malaga & Corsica.

4/11/25 - Depart Rome for 21d TATL to Ft. Lauderdale.
Ports: Corsica, Livorno, Genoa, Villefranche, Marseille,
Barcelona, Seville, Casablanca, & Canary Islands (x2).

But I'm considering changing the 4/11 cruise to this:
4/12/25 - Depart Rome for a 14d to Barcelona.
Ports: Naples, Crete, Istanbul, Mykonos, Athens,
Santorini, Kotor (Montenegro), Corfu & Sicily.

We'd fly home from Barcelona.

Yeah, I know this is going to cost us a ton of $$$.
But I think we'll have a blast. It could be our last.

Sounds like fun. I don't think u can go wrong with either one. Depends on cost and budget and what destinations you want to see.

I am curious about Seville because it is inland. Will they bus you there or take the ship up the river?

Which line(s)?
Princess.

"The Port of Seville is an inland seaport located in the Guadalquivir River estuary. Because of its location, cruise ships can dock in the heart of Seville, close to the city's historical center and monuments like the Torre de Oro and the Cathedral. The cruise terminal is located at the Delicias Dock." -- andalucia.org

I would recommend the 4/12/25 departure. All those ports are excellent, I did something similar this year on Princess and really enjoyed it.

Please enjoy all the sea days and bring two (2) good book to read.
Please beware of all the time changes headed to Europe.
Enjoy.

So you are going to cruise transatlantic to get to Rome? I love the onboard experience, so I would enjoy that.

I now have deposits on all three cruises w-both 4/11 & 4/12.
Fortunately, the deposits are refundable until final payment.
Iberia Airlines seems to have a NS from Barcelona to Miami. :ponder:

Can you do just the 7 days segment of 4/11 cruise? I don’t think I’d want to do 2 TA in a month. That’s a lot of sea days. I’d probably pick 4/12 for S Italy and E. Med. April is supposed to be nice weather at those ports. N Italy/France can have some rainy weather in April. I really like princess. Lovely ships and reasonable pricing.

Princess doesn't do partial-pricing for that; however, we're leaning toward the 4/12 Med cruise anyway. Based on that, I booked a rental car and hotels for a 4/12 departure. I also checked out flights from Barcelona. ;)

OTOH, there are two posters on Cruise Critic's roll-call forum who say they're doing both TATL's becuz their spouses can't fly (for some reason).
