I was wondering if Wyndham has any limitations as to reserving a different timeshare in the same area. I am looking at a resale at Cypress Palms but would want to mainly stay at bonnet creek when in that area. Will there be any limitations as to trading within that area? thanks

You are making a good decision in my opinion.. Bonnet Creek ownerships often still have mortgage balances- so the sellers are less able to sell at the current market levels.. If I have a buyer who plans on using primarily for Orlando bookings, I simply recommend they look for the best points to price value they can find on resale.. Since there are numerous opportunities to use your points at the Orlando resorts, and while Bonnet Creek will most likely book at a higher rate than others- owners can feel pretty confident they'll find great availability in the area.

Also, Bonnet Creek will be huge when completed! It will be interesting to see how easy or difficult reservations will actually end up at this location.... I've got a feeling many people may end up kicking themselves for buying into the hype and salespitch (to get Bonnet Creek- you need to own Bonnet Creek!)..

So far, not too difficult. I booked a 2BR for Easter Week during the Standard period---they are long gone now (only 1BRs left) but they were there for those on the ball. Inexplicably, it was Value season, too! That's a seriously good deal.

There are still plenty of units available for President's Week 09, including some 3BRs for Friday and Sunday check-ins.

We bought points at Cypress Palms three years ago.and have always stayed at Bonnet Creek. This Oct will be the first time at C.P. We are going for the Owners meeting.
