Are Orlando Timeshare resort pools opened?

Is there a list which ones are opened compared which ones are closed?

Are there any changes to pools like only 50% capacity, etc...?

Thank you.

I think you are going to have to contact your resort directly, but what I have seen at resorts I'm interested in visiting and hearing from friends who just got back from stays at places with pools is that the resorts are limiting pool hours, asking guests to make a reservation for visiting a pool, breaking pool times into chunks of hours like 3 or 4 hours and then clearing and cleaning the area, rotating pools that are open (if more than one area).

Maybe resorts are doing some of these things, maybe all of them, but planning to spend all day, everyday by the pool at your resort is not a guarantee. Definitely check before you go and know everything is subject to change.

MVC has a “resorts update” page hat lists the resorts and what’s open/closed. At Harbor Lake right now - the Florida Falls pool is open as is the hot tub, sports courts, recreation stuff (like table tennis, pool), the mini golf course and they just started activities back up Saturday. Fitness center is open but I think you might need to reserve a time. No time/reservation needed for other stuff. Pool bar isn’t open. Staff wearing masks but guests aren’t required to do so. It may be because of low occupancy that the amenities are left to guests to physical distance themselves?

I think it depends on the management at each. Statewide:
- Condominium pools are allowed to open, if they choose.
- Swimmers should keep at least six feet of separation.
- Activities that could foment a crowd are prohibited.

My residential HOA has chosen to keep it's pool closed becuz
it lacks the personnel to supervise + clean the pool area.
