We will be at Marriott Harbour Lake and Lakeshore Reserve next month and asking for unit recommendations. It will just be two adults in one bedroom units. At Harbour Lake what unit near the pools but not poolside would you recommend? At Lakeshore what unit near the pools? Thanks.

At Harbour Lake, only four buildings have lock off units. Thus only those four have 1BR units. I believe the lock offs are on the end of the buildings. Those are 28, 29, 30 and 31. So if you want near the pool but not pool side, I would recommend 29 or 30.
For Lakeshore Reserve, only two buildings have 1BR units which are part of the 2BR lock offs. You can actually have on of three kinds. Though they are all in the same two buildings. Palermo and Messina have the 1BR units. Messina is near the pool.

For harbour lake I would choose building 31. The one bedroom units are second from the end and look out over a pond and then Westwood blvd.
The units in building 29 and 30 are directly on the internal road.
For lakeshore the one bedroom units in Messina are closer to the pool than the ones in Palermo.
By looking at your confirmation you can probably figure out which type of 1bedroom you have. The deluxe one bedrooms are on the end of the buildings by the parking lots (but the balcony does not face the parking lot ). The one bedroom part of a two bedroom are along the sides of the buildings.
