Orca Stranded @ Poipu Beach

Big excitement this morning. Juvenile Orca stranded at the beach. Along with 1000 others we watched helplessly as the poor animal tried to head out to sea but was too weak. \it kept getting washed back onto the beach and the lava rocks on either side. People, including me, had tears in their eyes for this poor animal.

There was a coast guard cutter offshore, cops, and a fire truck.

Will keep you updated. Hopefully with good news.,

It was a humane act by the Vet of the Federal Wildlife Authorities. Sad for the orca whale but better than dying slowly in agony.
