I have returned from a stay at Orange Lake this summer and must say that I was impressed with the resort. I stayed in a remodeled West Village golf villa and the unit was wonderful. Space was plentiful and the condition of the villa was excellent.

Also the new Waters Edge pool complex was fabulous especially for our little ones. It was July and the crowds at the pool were average and we never had a problem with getting chairs. They were still completeing the poolside dining facility while we were there. I would not hesitate to return to Orange Lake in the future. I am going to check out some additional Orlando resorts but will definetely be back to Orange Lake. Also I would like to thank everyone at TUG for providing valuable information in regards to local shopping(Wal-Mart location) and back ways to the parks to avoid 192.

I went to a timeshare presentation there a couple of years ago, and turned down buying in from developer but did buy a week's vacation there (which would probably be frowned on by most Tuggers) -- we really enjoyed it and are looking forward to going back there again sometime. It's handy to Disney and has a lot to offer onsite. Beautiful units (I thnk we were in North village - and there was a small croc in the pond).

can you help me with the WM and Target location nearest to Orange Lake? Also, other than the outlet malls, where is the closest shopping Mall? Thanks,

There is a Wallmart and Target on the main strip out of OLCC (192?). They are a bit down the road 10-15 minutes with the Target on the left and Walmart further down on the right. I have heard there is a Walmart closer but I don't know where it is. I'm sure other Tuggers will know and the people at OLCC are very helpful.

Our family of 4 (kids 14 and 10) LOVE OLCC. We own a week there and never ever had any problems. A draw for us was its size and location. The units are always clean, people friendly and I never had any problems. Why is it frowned upon on the Tug as someone above has said. Thank you.

I also own at Waterside at Spinnaker in HHI (week 32) and love that too. Does that get bad reviews from Tuggers too? Just wondering if I am crazy LOL Thanks.

Closest Wal Mart

Turn right on 192 (West), then go to dead end where 192 meets 27, (only a couple of miles) When you get to HWY 27. Go north (right), and you will find a super Wal Mart on your right less than 5 miles.
