you can log in to RCI and go to manage my account, combine weeks, and then on the right is a link to a TP calculator. Put in your unit number and week number and it gives you your answer.

My mom has offered that we use her timeshare studio at Orange Lake in Orlando. My husband and I want to do an RCI exchange for one of the Disney vacation club properties anytime from the last week in September to the first week of November 2016.
Her fixed week is week 16 (April). Before we pay to sign up for RCI we want to know if it's worth it.
Could anybody check how much the trading power would be if we deposited a Holiday Inn club- Orange lake studio this week?
Also are there any Disney studios showing for the fall and if so how much are they going for?

- A few in S and VA, a single resort in NC, MD, PA, and UT, plus Jamaica and the Bahamas
You are not going to be able to do it. There is a geographical restriction and you can't use a timeshare that is within 30 miles of Disney world to exchange into a DVC Orlando property.
Just so you know the value of that studio week:
If you are looking at depositing a week 16 for 2016, you are on the late side. It currently has a value of 16 tpu's. If you deposit a 2017 week 16 a studio has a tpu value of 20. Even without the geographical restriction you probably should have a tpu value of 45 or higher to start a search although you might get a studio DVC at that time of year for as low as 25-30.
