Orange lake estate/deed question

I live in MA, my mom passed away in ‘22, she has owned (since the 90’s) two weeks at orange lake that have been paid off. The timeshare has recently gone through probate down in Florida, and the deed is now in my name, and being recorded as such. How do I get the timeshare to officially transfer ownership so I can start using these weeks? Is there a direct email address or phone number that handles these situations where I can talk to a real person who will lead me in the right direction? This has been a lengthy and expensive process paying my mom’s maintenance fees since 2022 and a lawyer and I feel like I’m almost at the finish line but have no idea where to go from here. You probably need to call Orange Lake Resorts/Holiday Inn Club Vacations and ask for their title transfer department.

I would verify with Orange County that the deed is actually in your name now first. My mom thought that a transfer had taken place 17 years ago when my dad passed away when her attorney contacted them to transfer it to just her name, and we came to find out last year that Holiday Inn never processed it.

So fast forward last year, when she decided that she wanted to transfer the deed to my name, we discovered the original transfer never took place because Holiday Inn didn't file paperwork. Thus started a 10-month process of trying to get this all sorted. My first suggestion would be to contact the deed transfer department at deedingmailbox@holidayinnclub.com or the owner's transfer department at

Good news is, if your deed has actually been recorded with the county, you will just need to update your info with Holdiay Inn. Sadly in my experience though, you have to check, double check and recheck to make sure they actually do it correctly. They had lost my father's death certificate twice, sent mail to us to a wrong address that had been changed with them 15 years prior, and misplaced much of the correspondence I had sent them via USPS. It was unbelievably frustrating and I ended up having to send every piece of correspondence to them via certified mail return receipt requested.
