We love Ocean City, but we stayed at Sea Time and didn't like it. Although it's hard to say why we didn't like it. I guess bc our unit was cramped. Sea Time is right by the beach, though, and we had a balcony with a partial ocean view. And they have a pool.

No info for you on St. Tropez, we've never stayed there. Please let us know how it is if you stay there!

We stayed at the St Tropez in 2011 and liked it. Seemed to be reasonably clean although getting along in age at that time. At that time I noted in my review that "The bathrooms were starting to show their age with some mold and crumbling around the bathtubs". All units face the ocean but units 103, and 203 would have partially blocked views of the ocean and units 104-105, and 204-205 would have even more of a blocked view, all due to another very small 2 story rental building in front of them. (I believe the unit numbering is <floor number>0<unit on floor counting from North side of building>, again with floor 0 being the ground floor parking). The resort is right on the beach. The resort allows pets with a non refundable cleaning fee. My review contained lots of pictures of the resort and room. Not sure what the condition of the resort is now, but recent Trip Advisor reviews https://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g41298-d15710085-Reviews-St_Tropez-Ocean_City_Maryland.html seemed mostly good., and one indicated the units had been updated. Below are a few 2011 pictures we took of it. We stayed in unit 305 (the corner unit on the left on floor 3 (just enough to see over the building in front). Google maps has late 2019 street views of it as well as satellite views

There are some current reviews on this resort on Tripadvisor, that may help the OP.

I owned a 1BR with a partial ocean view at Sea Time for only two years, then sold it. I found it depressing -- figured out it is because the only natural light in the kitchen and living room is from the slider to the balcony. It's rather like being in a long, dark row home -- just my opinion. OTOH, the beach is very close and there is a decent pool.

Thanks everyone - we grabbed St Tropez for June will do a review when we return
Was it an ongoing search or a rental? I rarely see st tropez available in anything other than late October-early March with the exchange companies.
