So I got my letter today from Wyndham that I am in the system. Just about 3.5 months since my original EBay purchase.
Given that this is my first purchase, I spent a good bit of the evening playing around on the website. Everything seemed to go fine. Later, I went back on the website to the reservation section and a form appeared. I wasn't paying any attention like the dope that I am and clicked "next". Nothing happened.
Now I look at the website again and see the following language:
"To request a reservation, please use the form below. Please note that you are authorizing the Vacation Planning Center to make a reservation on your behalf. Once our agents process your request and confirm your reservation, you will receive a confirmation letter by standard U.S. postal service"
What happened? When I hit "next: did I request a reservation for myself at some random resort? That'll teach me for playing on the computer while I am watching The Mole.
