I have a deeded week, and am trying to plan ahead for Nov/Dec 2025. A few weeks ago, "book your week" was functional, although I was too early to reserve the week I have in mind. I went back today to remind myself of my target booking date, and now, clicking "Book My Week" takes me to
Online Reservation Booking is currently not available for your Resort. Please call Owner Services for assistance with booking your reservation.
Has anyone else run into this recently? I am hoping it's a short term glitch as opposed to the new normal.

I just got the same message. It's a pain to call in. I hope it's not the new normal.

Do you need to pay your maintenance fees and The Club Dues for 2025; now before this November/December booking?

I checked into the Point at Poipu last night.
I will be booking for next year at 360 days out, later this week. (Deeded owner Flt/Flt)
Can't answer for "The Club" Dues. OP asked about a deeded week.
Short answer: 2025 MFs must be paid in advance or be on the ongoing monthly plan.

I have been on the monthly payment plan for MFs and have not been able to book online since the system never shows MFs as paid up in full.
I need to call in first thing in the am, On-line bookers get a jump start on me of a few hours.
It is a pain, but the CSRs have been OK once you get through and they have to verify the monthly payment status.

Prior to signing up for the monthly plan I have paid the MFs up front in order to book early.

In the old days we used to stand in line at the lobby fax machine at midnight to reserve 360 days to the minute. Again, having paid MFs a couple days prior.

Things have changed (from Sunterra days) since the points memberships began splitting weeks and as Diamond/HVC members increase their points, multi-week/hi-point owners book consecutive weeks getting a jump on the holiday periods or use lots of points to grab OF units.
I used to count on getting Bldg 6 corner units fairly regularly but haven't been there in several years.
I did get the best OF room that I requested after Bldg 6, so maybe the few hours the On-line people get ahead of me isn't worth coughing up $2654.50 in one chunk.

Once again, I must be on the "unlikely to buy" list.
No invite to a presentation;)
It's a busy week so likely no shortage of better prospects.
I was hoping to see a remodeled unit, however.

I did get an email offering discount* "getaways" to Las Vegas, Maui, California etc. *presentation required at each stay

I called into the reservation line today.
They said some resorts are not available for online reservations at this time.
The Point @ Poipu is one of them, no explanation as to why we can't see (on the website) the exact date for reservations beginning.

I asked about paying MFs upfront (vs monthly plan) and that did not allow for on-line reservations either.
Looks like the only way to reserve is by phone call.
I asked if points members could reserve online, the answer was no difference, deeded or points.

Call in at 360 days 9am EST for deeded owners. I think The Club members have different windows depending on levels.

Looks like will be up at 4am Hawaii time

At least if you have multiple deeded weeks and want to book them consecutively, you can do that on the reservation line even when the first week is the only one within the 360 day limit. You couldn't do that online. You'd have to wait for each week and book them separately.

Yep, Art,

You are to be envied with the multiple weeks here at the Point. Consecutive weeks prior to 360 days is a nice advantage.

The best we can do is the Point for Thanksgiving and move to Lawai Beach Resort the week after or like this year, Kuleana Club (Maui) after.

We also use Kapaa Shores (Worldmark) for a couple days before or after, depending on any airfare savings.

Wifey has the flu since Saturday (Urgent Care) so we missed the annual Kauai Slack Key Festival that is usually a highlight for us.

We have stayed at various places on other islands, and liked them, but we like South Kauai the best. We first went to the Point in 2000 and rented there because we could fit 7 people into 2 units, and it had A/C. Now it's the only place we go in Hawaii because as we get older, the island hopping wears us out. We'll continue to stay 3 weeks at the Point every winter until we're unable to travel. Lawai Beach Resort looks like a pretty nice place to stay too.

Yes, the great thing about Lawai Beach, besides location is: >2/3rd to 1/2 the MFs of Poipu

No developer involved, just owners.

We agree South Kauai is the best.

Cindy's (&Rick) Shearwater is cool as well for the summer, if we had a way.
Can't add any more ownership here, aging out at 67 & 71

3 weeks in Hawaii that is the ultimate goal of owning a timeshare vacation. IMHO.
That is owning a vacation home in the Land of Paradise.

Got my 2025 Ocean Front reservation for Thanksgiving week, called in at 4am HI time.
At first, they wanted MFs upfront to reserve.
It took 15 minutes to verify the "SurePay" monthly plan was in effect, had to talk to financial services.
CSRs are remote workers since Covid so they can't just step aside and chat with supervisors or other depts.

@pedro47 is right, 3 weeks in Paradise is perfect once you get there.
Even though we've done everything & seen everything here it doesn't get old.
