Online having problems/Phone fast busy

Can anyone actually change an existing ressie or make a new ressie. I keep getting the online system crashing when it comes to that point.

I tried calling but only get a fast busy.

Anyone else having this issue?

Probably year end rush... People are making last minute decision to Bank or Rescue Points...

Yeah, but shouldn't they stress test the application for that. Or they don't care as it is only an annual anomaly. Glad Weather.com does see hurricanes as an anomaly.

As a long time IT guy, I can tell you that as a project nears completion, and is behind schedule, (which most are), testing, the last part left, gets trimmed down. In HGVC's case, they did create the automatic rescue points process, which should reduce the year end volume issue considerably, and it would be hard to volume test not knowing how many people would be on automatic.
Of course, paying maintenance fees is also going on prior to the Jan 1 deadline a number of resorts have.

See if you can access the system ~ 4AM EST. At that time, the system will likely have substantially less traffic from those fiddling with points and ponying up dues.

The best time to call would likely be just as they open for the day.

I also work in IT, and poor planning, project execution and scope control, are not an acceptable excuse. Glad we don't accept "we ran out of time for testing" on other critical items, construction, flying, medicine etc.

Yeah I know off topic, but it is a pet peeve of mine.
