One bedroom presidential views at Bonnet Creek

We are owners at Bonnet creek, thanks to James C on tug. We are staying for thirty days at bonnet creek in a one bedroom presidential unit and we requested a high floor and we received a text message back.
Good evening,

the resort will do everything possible based on availability to provide you with a requested floor. Please be aware that due to the high number of requests received, we are not able to guarantee. As a reminder, our 3dlx and Presidential Suites locations offer the "least" views property wide. We were not aware that the presidential units had the least views. Can my tug friends confirm or deny this to be true.
 
I have stayed at Bonnet Creek in 2BR Presidential / PR and 3BR Presidential / PR units, but never in a 1BR Presidential.

I will say that every single time I did, I got a view facing away the outside of the building. Each tower at BC has rooms with either lake view (inside units) or parking lot views (outside units).

I believe at Bonnet Creek in Tower 6, above a certain floor (think it's like 15 or 16) ALL units are Presidential or Presidential Reserve, so in that particular tower, you probably have a better chance of getting a lake view.

I will say this too, Bonnet Creek is in Florida, it's not like there's any specacular view, but I will say I have gotten Deluxe units there with a better view than Presidential. That said, the Presidential and Presidential Reserve units in Tower 6 are SPECTACULAR. If it was me, I would have requested a unit in Tower 6. The Presidential units in the other towers are a tad smaller and not AS nice.

Something is wrong with the way they worded that email. Presidential Reserve units certainly do not have “worse” views. I wonder if they meant they had the smallest number of rooms in that category thus making it more difficult to fulfill any particular request? Hence the use of the word “least?”

I think that, with the exception of the 4 bedroom units, all of the presidential inventory is in tower 6.

According to TripAdvisor forums posts, every tower has 4BR Presidential (top floor) but all the 1, 2 and 3BR Presidential units are in Tower 6. For certain all Presidential Reserve are in Tower 6, but it doesn't seem the OP has booked a PR room. None the less, if the poster on TA has their information right, the OP will be in Tower 6 regardless.

Mine as well. Also I think the best views for the 1 BR Presidentials / 1 BR Presidential Reserves are that only two of the 1 BR Presidentials are lake/pool view. I was told because of that, the Presidential Reserve owners may request them (instead of a presidential reserve) and are given priority. Bottom line - most likely you'll get a conservatory view in a 1 BR Presidential room. Also a word of caution - although the 1BR, 2BR, and 3BR presidential rooms are all in tower 6, they could choose to (complimentary) upgrade you to a 4BR Presidential in another tower. It has happened to us. So if your heart is set on tower 6, still not a bad idea to call ahead and have it noted on your reservation, FWIW.

If the units are only in Tower 3 then "the least views property wide" seems to be accurate. Not much choice there.
 
I stayed in a 1 BR presidential. They may have only 2 per floor. They are located at either end. I had a nice view of the lake and the other buildings, but limited views of any fireworks.

Because of the location in the stack, you will have to take what you get.
 
Thank you everyone, we get to Bonnet Creek Tuesday and hope we get a great view. We normally stay in a one bedroom unit and have always been fortunate to get great views.

I agree with the thoughts about less views available versus less quality overall.

The 1, 2, and 3 bedroom presidentials are only in Tower 6. Only towers 2 and 6 have 3 bedroom deluxe with LAKE(POOL) view (other towers have them but they are parking lot/conservatory view). Agree poorly worded, but makes sense they are trying to point out that overall there are fewer of these type rooms with the coveted lake/pool views (thus less chance for the request to be honored).
 
We were able to get building 6 unit 1202. Amazing views and end unit. Omg absolutely amazing room. Thank you so much to everyone for the help.
 
I stayed in 1402 so you are the floor below me. (I don't think they have a 13 number floor.)

The unit is huge, and the views are good. Long walk from the elevator however, LOL.

We love the units in building 6. So much nicer than regular rooms, and the 4 bed in 6 is way better than the other towers.

Agreed, even the deluxe units in Tower 6 are seemingly better than the other towers. I also like the fact that it's closer to most of the on-site restaurants too. The only thing it's really far from is the activity center
