The local news (Bangor) reported tonight that the lowest temperature ever for 1/17 was -22 F.
The Highest for 1/17 was 54 F.

That's a 76 degree difference---that seems like A LOT!!

I realize other COLD areas might experience wide fluctuations; but I was thinking of HOT climates.

For instance, on 1/17, as an example, in Phoenix, have (OVER MANY YEARS) they seen 95 degrees AND other years 19 degrees?

If the wacko weather we've had recently continues, maybe we'll have those extremes within a week!!

Here in St. Charles, Mo. the temperature was 69 degrees at 2:00 am this morning. Right now it is 24 degrees with an overnight low of 17 predicted. We've had a really weird winter.

Ha, Ha. :D No. There were three deleted posts that went off track. The weather is a great topic to discuss.
